Explorer icon modification...what's missing?

I have installed Mr. Grims black icon pack a couple times now (reinstall only due to clean install). Anywho, the first time the explorer icon didn't change..second time I did get it to change as I found some things needed tweaking. Now, I'm not entirely sure what I changed but I cannot get it to go back to black, this time. I went into explorer.exe and changed the "icon" to the black one and am still getting (attached) as I pin to the task bar....any thoughts?

AND, I have pinned/unpinned..changed, pinned/unpinned...etc.

You need to navigate to the C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer folder and choose iexplor.exe

I meant windows explorer...as you can see in the picture, the icon "is" black but pins manila....

Then you chose the correct icon,. it has changed from Vista.

Anyone have any thoughts on whats happening???

The main icon location are in the shell32.dll and imagerres.dll in the C:\windows/System32 directory

If you have a Vista machine you can use explorer.exe for the icon you're trying to locate
