I have seen other posts, none quite match my issue. I bought an HP mini 110 black friday of '09. It came standard with 7 starter. I upgraded to premium, and from that point on had issues with 'Windows Explorer not responding'. Mainly when using Internet explorer, and having other programs open, but not always. Recently, I reformatted. This had solved the problem, and I didn't have an issue for months. Now that I updated to sp1, it's happening again, and more often. Any ideas, tips? This is a very annoying problem. :sarc:

Hello,

Most likely this is a software problem. Start by running driver verifier: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

After 24 hours, or you get a BSOD, upload a jcgriff2 report: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

While waiting for someone to look over your jcgriff2 report, try a "selective startup": Run Selective Startup using System Configuration

Finally, how often does this problem occur?
