Installed Windows 7 on my MSI Wind U100 with out any hitches. The only problem is that although my external drive is recognized and shown as functioning in Device Manager, it doesn't show up in Windows Explorer. USB sticks show up just fine. Tried 3 different functioning external drives without success.

2GB RAM
U100 Win7 Drivers installed
Upgraded BIOS 11/2/09

What am I missing?

Let me guess. Are they all empty drives with 0 space used?

Thanks for the tip; however my external drive wasn't empty. I finally found the problem/fix. I went to Disk Management and had to manually assign a drive letter for the drive to show up in Explorer.

I don't recall ever having to do that with XP.
