explorer 'pop up'

I installed IE8 from windows live but every couple of days or so I get an explorer message wanting to explain all about it and how to set it up etc. How can I get rid of that please?

After I installed Windows 7, with IE8, I had the same problem. I could not figure it out, until, with luck, I solved my problem. Hopefully it will work in your situation. The pop up is asking for which options you want. The next time that you see the pop up, read each pop up and decide on the option that you want. You will experience this problem with each user account. Nothing seems to work other than going through about the 6 questions that will be asked.
