Export Address Book

I am trying to export my Outlook Address Book to my new Hotmail account. Can anyone put me on the right track please? I have spent a bit of time on it already but can't seem to fathom it all out.

Export from outlook.com ? or are you using Office outlook ?
Hotmail is outlook.com, basically nothing but a format change.

I am using Microsoft Home & Office Outlook 2010 and I want to export it and put it on my Hotmail account. Hotmail says to export it to a file then return to Hotmail for further instructions. So how do I export my Outlook 2010 to a folder where I can pick it up and move it. I know you export it using a PST file but I can't remember how you do it??? :sarc:

you can do the same backup for the contacts also, just pick the contacts in the tutorial instead of the personal folder, and name it contacts.pst instead of backup.pst the rest is the same
