Extended desktop feature wears off after shut down or standby

I tried running Antichamber and it froze at a black screen.
I uninstalled the driver and now Dota is working perfectly fine (4 more fps I might add).
So now I am driver-less, and Steam tells me there's new AMD software for my computer. However, not sure if I wanna install it.

I been in your situation before, where they things aren't working properly I slowly got more impatient and frustrated. At this point your stable, some users in this forum will say only update drivers if your experiencing problems others like me tend to go the other route but I tend not to suggest that to members asking for help here. If your stable you can stay like that, or you can try and update and learn which drivers are being downloaded by Steam (most likely AMD's). Your situation is a bit difficult because you have 2 different chipsets responsible for the graphics performance in your system. (mainly design for increase battery life by decreasing over consumption from the gpu chip).

At this point is your call, you can remain stable or you can try out the new driver. We can always revert back it, it's just a matter of how you are feeling at the moment and how much time you have.
