Extending Displays Question

Hey, I had a quick question about extending my display between two laptops. I currently have two laptops: a Dell 1545 and a Dell 1501. The specs of the 1545 are on my profile and the specs of the Dell 1501 are:

Windows 7 32-bit
1280x800
ATI Radeon Xpress Series 1150

I am trying to set the Dell 1545 to extend its screen to the Dell 1501 using a vga cable. I have tried to get it to work but to no avail. What settings should I use if this is possible?

Thanks,

I don't think it is as those VGA ports on the laptops are for output, not input.

+1

The VGA slots in your laptops are output only. What you are trying is simply not possible.
