ve an external hard that when I plug it into my computer via USB doesn't allow me to access it via my computer. The computer bleeps and show me its connected but I am unable to access it.

I have done a low level format on it to wipe it clean.

Can someone please help, I need to copy a lot of files on to it but because it is not listed on my computer I am unable.

Regards

Stuart

Try following this tutorial to create a partition on that drive. DO NOT touch the C: drive nor drives you have already, only the new drive. (look at the drive letter from My Computer to identify it)

If it's a brand new drive it should be all "unallocated space" in that window.
Post a screenshot of the Disk Management window otherwise.
