Have a Seagate Backup Plus.

Can I use the Windows reminder to backup (Important Messages) direct to the drive I installed Seagate or is it better to utilise Seagate's programme that is installed?

Advice appreciated.

If Seagate's program is similar to Macrium Reflect, use either MR or Seagate's program. I cannot vouch for Windows reminder or its backup/restore program; many say it's very good, many others say it's not that good.
