External HD Not Showing Up

Have searched the forum and saw some people with similar problems but I am unable to self diagnose/fix this problem. HD used to work fine but I haven't used it in months. It makes the noise when I plug it in but it does not show up under computer. Shows up in disk management as "Disk 1" (see screenshot) I have also included a screen shot from minitool partition wizard which some other posts said might be able to fix the problem. Any ideas?
