Hi
I have a Samsung Story 1TB EHD,
Heres a snip of diskmgmt
So Diskmgmt sees the drive and i can format the drive but cant assign a drive letter, i get the error about rescanninig the disks or rebooting(see error.jpeg snip)
Downloaded EASEUS Partition Master, it can see the drive i can format the drive, but when i try to assign a drive letter i get a failure to mount drive error
I cant see the disk from my computer either
So any ideas.......?

Right managed to fix it......lol
Reinstalled 7 with all my attached devices switched on and now they appear to be working
