Hi
i recently had a hard drive failure which meant i was unable to use my laptop so i decide to use my external HDD (work on windows) as a backup drive until i bought a new HDD so i install Linux Ubuntu 11.04 on it (work fine) then when i fixed my laptop i wanted to remove linux and use my external HDD again as a storage device so i poped the linux cd in and deleted the partition so i thought i could use it again but its undetectable on my windows OS. it does not appear in my computer(when you double click the icon) but appears in my device manager.
Pls help me and thx in advance

Hello redfira234, welcome to Seven Forums!

Have you tried giving the external a drive letter in Windows disk management?

Type diskmgmt.msc into the Windows 7 start menu search box and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.
