I have seagate 5400 RPM 320 GB hdd..I benchmarked it and It gave me a result of 27.2 MB/s.Is it too slow or is it normal??

I have an external Seagate (7200rpm) and get the same transfer rates as you.
I have searched high and low and everything I've read says this is normal for a USB2.0-connected device.
