Extremely frequent BSODs - possible RAM issue?

Greetings - would love any assistance you could provide.

Recently bought a pre-owned PC due to mine being destroyed by inter-country postal services. First few weeks, it was fine - more recently, constant BSODs, like.. every 5 minutes or less sometimes. Often it'll go hours without one, but not reliably.

Attached 1 minidump + dxdiag.

One thing I did note - this PC has 12gbs of RAM currently installed, but it's only showing up as 8GBs. I believe it's 3 sticks of Corsair 4gb ram, not sure on speed etc. Does this suggest it's corrupted or something?

I do have 16gbs of RAM from my old computer that weren't damaged, but when I install them, the pc errors, saying "Overclock failed" or something. I presume I have to un-overclock whatever's overclocked, but I think I'll be able to work that one out eventually.

Just wondering, is there something I've missed? Could it be something else? I've tried system restores etc, antivirus always comes up perfectly clean etc. Just really frustrating - there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind it. Sometimes it BSODs during a game, sometimes when alt-tabbing, sometimes when the computer's just completed/completing startup.

SFC test runs clean.

The bugcheck points to a general hardware error, but at this point its not possible to tell if its RAM...it could be an incorrect overclock.

I would do the following in this order, given the information you provided:

1. Reset all overclocks by entering the BIOS at boot, and choosing the "Reset to Default" or similar, and save those settings.
2. Boot and run the computer as normal. If it BSOD's, go to step 3.
3. Run the following stress tests:

RAM : run a minimum of 8 passes, no less

So I tried un-overclocking everything, seemed ok at first, then a few minutes later started getting BSODs again. Before I could run those stress tests, however, my hard drive seemed to fail, with the following error message:

The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible. 0xc000000f.

I guess I should try to reformat or something? Do you think I should try to reinstall Windows on the same hard-drive, or toss it and try a fresh install on a different drive? Not sure how to reformat from bios, but I'm sure I'll be able to work it out. Thanks again for any help!

Memtest will run even without a drive.
