facing lag due to packet loss

hey guys .i need some help.
i am running win 7 ultimate.
with a 2mb connection.
but still i face lag while playing fifa 10 online.
why is it so..
why i searched evrwhere .
finally i cam to know that i have some packet loss problem .
but how to resolve it man.
plz someone help me out .

lik dude, we kinda need much more info. Lag? how do you like know? where does it like say?
have you like searched gooogle?

Like what kinda loss?

does that make it easier to understand?

We need much more information. please put your system specs in the box in the lower left corner of your posts. Then tell us about your network setup, etc

i have already posted my specs.
and i am trying to play fifa 10 online.
but it lags heavily .
but the browsing and downloading process are working fine for me.
so what is it that is causing such mess.
i have a 2mb connection via cable rj45 connector.

ya i did but they are not even understanding my problem..
and i dont use a router .
its a cable connection by rj45 connector directly.
any manual tweaks that i can do ..

I must say I don't know much about cable connections we don't have it this side. However I would have still thought you would have some sort of a router on your side?

You might try and download this DPC latency checker just to give you an idea where this lag is coming from, could be ISP or something else.

Download and run this program and post a screen shot of the results, we can go from there.
