Solved Fail to get bios menu and strane boot behavior

Hello

I see a strange boot behavior: windows starts without displaying the normal command prompt, and without displaying the “windows start” icon. It means that the black screen switches directly to the login screen. No command prompts during the whole process.

Now I need to format the OS and I want to do it by booting from windows 7 installation CD.
The problem is F2 during boot halts the OS start but the screen stays black. The BIOS menu does not appear and no command lines shows during the whole process.

How can I get out from this situation?

(Last thing I did before I saw this strange boot behavior is “disk cleanup”)

Disconnect the SATA cable from all HDD. then try to enter BIOS set up. Once you get into BIOS, change the boot priority to the ODD (CD DVD). Then see if you can boot from the win 7 installation disk. If you can, shut down and reconnect the HDD you wan to do a clean install.

It's important to leave only the disk you wanto to have Win 7 installed attached to the MB.
