Failed Security Update Results in System Repair for last 2 months

Hopefully this is an easy one for somebody...

The August 'Security Updates' failed multiple times a few weeks back resulting in one or more 'system repair' sessions on start up. I finally skipped the update thinking September updates may not have the issue. That was not the case, I'm having the same problem with KB4516065 and KB4474419 this month. I've tried renaming the 'Software Distribution' and 'catroot2' folders and end up with the same results after retrying.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've downloaded and run the SURT but the CBS.log ends up ~250MB and only compresses down to ~40 MB preventing me from uploading the log. I've attached the CheckSUR.log in case it helps and a screenshot of my update history from today's attempts.

If anyone knows a way around the size limit for uploads and the CBS.log file is needed please let me know and I'll get it uploaded.

Running the update readiness tool a second time resulted in a much smaller CBS.log... I've attached it with its CheckSUR.log as well. Let me know if anything else would be helpful.

I too have trouble with kb4474419, will watch this thread alongside you - hoping for answers.
