Failed Update 0x800706be driver...but device mgr shows updated driver?

I tried to update my older Radeon ATI 5450 GPU via windows update...

I received the message from windows update, and showed it failed update with the 0x800706be

However when I go to device manager and check the details of the installed driver it clearly shows the new updated version? So I wonder which is correct the device manager showing the new version of the driver or windows update?

You can identify the problem using Device Manager

You can identify the problem using Device Manager, which you can access by:

1. Opening the Control Panel Window
2. Selecting and double-clicking System
3. Clicking Device Manager
4. In Device Manager check if there is an exclamation point, a yellow triangle, or a question mark against your Dell device. If there is, there is a problem with your Dell device.

This is actually an OEM HP Pavilion p6680t.

There are NO warning messages next to the device driver symbol for the Radeon GPU, and it does show the driver version as the exact same version I was trying to install.
