I've recently built a PC and installed Win7 64bit on it. Everything seems to work fine, except when I try to install recently downloaded updates. I have about 169 required downloads, which are all able to be downloaded without issue. When the PC reboots to install, it sits in the installation window for maybe an hour, and then displays a message saying that the installation has failed, and that the PC is re configuring to previous settings.

Any ideas how to fix this issue? My computer specs are in my profile if needed. Thanks in advance.

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)
