FALLOUT 3 cant install patch 1.7

When I install the patch, the install crashes at the end as it tries to load the game. The game ran pre patch and is a fresh install. There is no error message.

If you have Games For Windows Live, and you should since you have Fallout 3 installed, make sure you're logged into your profile, then try the update. I had the same issue awhile back and this worked for me.
