fallout new vegas folders & installed games

Just got me a new windows 7 Home premium 64bit. I can't find where installed games go. Like fallout new vegas (disk version). It's not in program files. Where does window 7 home premium 64bit put games? Wheres fallout new vegas?:huh:

Fallout New Vegas will be installed where ever you installed STEAM, in the common folder.


By Default it should be C:\Program Files (x86)\STEAM\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas

All Steam games will be like this.

FO:NV requires STEAM.

Mines the Collectors Edition retail disc as well, and still installs via STEAM, since it is required for the game.

So if it isn't present, you must install it before installing the game. If you already have STEAM, it installs the common folder.

Even the retail disc games are treated any other Steam game.

At least, thats how mine done.
