Falso positive with Avast

For the first time during a routine scan of my hard drive I got a message that said "Your network is accessible from the internet". The fix was to go to Remote Access Management of my router (Cisco) and select the DISABLE button. It was already selected as disable, toggled it and reset to disable and saved. Rescan produces the same error. False ??

Went to the link, read it twice and the only thing I got out of it was to change the administrators password. I did this and did a rather long challenging mixture of everything. Afterwards, the family started complaining about the loss of internet. After updating all the laptops, tablets, cell phones and computers etc, they are all talking again. Double checked the setting again, "Remote Management Access" was disabled. Same error persists on another scan.

One other thought, I do have a 24/7 DVR Video surveillance from the house. It is password protected for entry from outside as I do watch on my cellphone now and again.

I am not sure what AVAST is telling me, do I have a port open, is Avast requesting a remote server to signal and try and penetrate my router during this scan? I did what the error message and suggested fixes told me to do. Tx for your assistance.

So after several weeks of working this with AVAST multiple test's, setting changes and finally a system dump to them, the answer is : [FONT=&quot]"After discussing with our second level support. We found out that this is most likely caused due to incompatibility of Home Network Security and your router. Some of our other users are also experiencing same issue. We are working on resolving such issues on the later version of Avast antivirus." [/FONT]
