As it is with most products, the functionality and ease of use will vary with different makes and models. I have no first hand knowledge of the one your looking at, but I have a NZXT Lexas S case that has a dual fan controller. It allows me to adjust the front intake fan, as well as the rear exhaust fan (1 controller for each fan). Mine was no problem to hook up, I just plugged it into the MB header.

If they work they are handy. A friend has had two and both failed after a few months.
They connect easily. The controller uses a 12V power connector and the fan leads connect to the controller.
