right well it seems dell are really taking the piss out of me, I got my laptop last summer, and started having problms in april after calling their support service they "made" me buy a 2 year hardware guarantee, with home technician appointments, ok, they changed my mobo and 1 month later started getting more bsods. they told me it WAS software problems and insited I needed to reinstall windows, so they made me buy thre Windows 7 instllation disk, that did NoT fix things, so after spending a fortune on they operators calling them they INSISTED it was Software probems, reinstalling WINDOws 4 times! they Finaly realised after I almost raged that it would be the 5th time i reinstalled windows on a formatted disk that "oh it's a hardware issue" but I don't get to use my guarantee service and had to send my pc to the workshop, 6 days later they had just changed my mobo again, whey! NOT reassured. and guess I was right not to be, coz my laptop just started 5 days later to bsod on me again, and again and again, so just 3 hours ago decided to reinstall windows and on a fresh installation during the 1st automatic update it Bluescreened again, and in Safe mode also, so another attempt to reinstall(i know I know what the point it;s hardware again) and no I get the FATAL System Error.

stop c000021a { fatal system error }
the windows subsystem system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of
0xc000001d (0xff4488f8 0x008bed70 ).
The system has been shut down.

I'm not even going to try and turn the laptop back on but can anyone give me anything on these codes, I've look up on the web no one seems to have the status c000001d
thankx

hey thanks for your answer , found out that 0xc000001d error is "illegal instruction", no idea - but my system failed completely, so phoned dell this morning expressing my discontentment about the so called "reparation", ( I know exactly what goes (or doesn't go) on in post-sale services), and we found that the problem was the hard drive. Finally, so i m going to be able to use my home reparation guarantee once more, just hope this is as far as it goes for problems

héhé! et oui en effet m*rde alors!:D
