A Guy
:roflmao:
XP was great.
Mac OSX is terrible.
Ubuntu is alright.
iOS is in between Ubuntu and XP. So it's good-ish.
I don't really remember what Windows 95 was like....I was drinking pretty heavily then. After that, I had no computer until XP SP3.....and I did like that. After that, as Jaidyn says, iOS, which runs my iPod Touch, is pretty nice. Never tried any Linux variant or Mac OSX though.

Windows ME.
That has come as a bit of a shock. ME wasn't regarded as one of MS's better efforts at producing an OS. :o

No one gets my sense of humor. It was a joke.

I did - but don't let Joan see this post :p

Non GUI, probably MS DOS 5.0-6.2 (never tried OS/2 Warp)

Spent a lot of time with W98, but Vista was probably my favourite. Hard to give any definitive reason.

In Linux land, probably Mint 8 or OpenSuse 11.2 (last distros I really bothered spending any serious time working with/tweaking).

Distros after that, the ootb experience seemed to be a few steps forward, and several steps back.

And using Unity/Gnome 3 atm is like using KDE 4 when it first appeared - it may be pretty and new, but they're fundamentally broken and essentially just a PITA.

Coincidentally I had all new gear when Vista 64 bit arrived and I had a very good experience with that. Couldn't really understand why every one was having issues.
Also my previous XP rig had been pretty poor by any standard which helped with the feeling of luxury in Vista on the new one:)

Windows Me, liked it because it was on the first computer I ever owned.
Windows XP is my favorite, wiped Me and installed XP. My first ever install.
I liked SuSE when I had it, I really should look into dual booting again.

Windows 7 trumps them all.

I agree with this, moving from an XP media center refurb (still working, almost nine or ten years later) to a top of the line Vista laptop, I had issues at first, but with some tweaking and about an hour on the phone, I had no issues with Vista.

Some interesting, and certainly off the wall answers. I didn't expect to see ME on the list, especially from Airbot, who was being completely serious I am sure ;)

Windows ME was one of those OS's from Microsoft that as soon as it was released they "Sweeped" Under the carpet and Quickly gave another one
