Basically, post what's your favourite browser and why.

I have firefox because I love the way it's set out and all the add-ons that can increase the speed, for example fasterfox.

Opera 10.5x for me. It's fast, it's rendering engine is great and it has so many features.

Like for example:
- Opera Turbo
- Opera Link
- Mail Client
- Torrent Client
- Opera Unite
- Widgets

And of course the very useful 'Click to login' button to log in with one click on websites.

The UI and all the themes are appealing aswell.

I was big into Firefox and still have 3.6.3 on my systems, but since discovering SRWare Iron 5 Alpha I'm addicted to the speed. It loads off the HD very quickly. I'm running it with only 3 extensions as opposed to carrying 15 or so on Firefox.

My main gripe is no extension to sync bookmarks and passwords without creating a google account. But it's really a pleasure to use. You can set up search engines with a few trigger characters so that you can search right in the address bar. I have AltaVista as default but if I want to search google I put 'g' at the start of the line, 'imdb' for internet movie database etc.. No need for a separate drop down box search engine chooser thingy.

I have my own ftp site so it just gripes me there's no equivalent of SyncPlaces for Firefox. But the speed makes up for a lot of shortcomings! Eventually someone will write an extension for private ftp syncing I'm sure. I may just have to wait a couple of months. :)

I have tried Iron, and like it to a point. I just want a little more customizability(i'm so used to the way Opera is,and it's hard to change) with things like the speed dial page, and simple little things like that. It is fast, i'll give it that.

I used to use FF religiously, but it's just gotten so slow since ver. 2 that I just don't like it anymore. I still have it for when I need it for certain sites, but that's it. I use that simply because I refuse to use IE.

Opera 10.53. Been using Opera as my default since it became a free browser. Never crashes, plenty fast, and I don't need a ton of addons. Opera does everything I need right out of the box. A Guy

Opera 10.53 another long time user. No other browser comes close to the versatility Opera has in customizing the user interface, my favourite tool bar is the status bar because its skinny & I've transformed it into a status bar + address bar + main bar & a couple of bookmarks as well.
