I've been messing around with RT Se7en Lite a lot. Just wondering...

What Windows Features do you suggest/like removing?
What's pointless, outdated, bloatware, perhaps a 3rd party does it waaaay better?

So far on my list to remove are:
-IE9
-Backup
-WMP12

IE9 will obviously be compensated for with built in Chrome & FF.
I prefer GoodSync for backups & I like manually checking it.
WMP is cuz I boycott Windows trying to forcibly organize my personal stuff in nonsensical ways. & it refuses to play anything from where I do have my music, a separate HDD, so it's a completely useless program to me. I'll stick WMP11 in instead.

There will be none. I also do not recommend you remove IE. A lot of software actually makes use of IE. Remove it and they can fail to work. The same with Windows Media Player. Instead what you should do is go through "Turn Windows features on or off" to remove IE and WMP. The same can be done with DVD Maker, Media Center, XPs Printer/Viewer, Gadgets, Tablet PC and so on.

But go though some program to forcibly remove things only causes problems down the road. It doesn't even improve performance since the things you remove are not even running. They are merely DLLs.

Yeah, I'm keeping XPS since I found it's basically Windows' own PDF. WMP12 I plan to replace with 11. IE I've realized needs to stay. I know there's no difference in performance or speed, just less clutter for me. =)
