Hi guys need a little help here, i have over 100 movies on my laptop and i have created a WMP library with all data from the IMDB, all was going well till i moved a folder with 30 movies in and when i re added the new folder to the library all the meta data changed, all the information was not saved directly to the file like the last WMP i had and now i have a shoddy library hard to use on my netgear eva pro in all honesty it sucks,

i was wondering if there was a pluggin that anyone had invented that allowed the IMDB to auto update our libraries for us? please dont point me to yamma or abc tag editor one the yamma doesnt update the meta data more just adds files to read for the wmp (uselss for my eva) and the abc tag editor does not work either (cant get it working due to my email setups security and it hasnt been updated witha enw patch for over 2 years)

if anyone can help please let me know this is doing my head in big time.

thanks peeps

Did you have all the MetaDATA in the same folder?

Just curious if its possible some of the MetaDATA was simpy hidden, and therefore did not get moved.

Hi I think I used the wrong wording tbh it's the actaul tags on the videos themselves like title year author etc this data no longer saves to the video files directly

i can thoroughly recommend mediabrowser once you get the hang of it you wont look back, there is no need to use a library as the mediabrowser becomes the library it shows your movies by showing the movie poster and when clicked all the information about the film (description) age rating ,file type, imdb rating and more check this forum here for more info ,any help needed just ask,

Hi m8 I use media Plex for my true library it's awesome but the problem is I have a netgear Eva 2000 which uses the media library in WMP which is my original post and issue, there's loads of servers out there doing a similar job but NONE actually right to the files info which is used in wmp
