Feeding back bugs in RC1

although i've not had any major trauma, i'm still fnding bugs in RC1, like the internet connection throttling back at random times needing a reeboot of iE8. I've clicked the send feedback shortcut but nothing seems to happen.

The biggest pain though is the Mobile device centre, which when it syncs with my WinMo device and updates the outlook contacts manages to conveniently delete custom ringtones I have set up!

small but annoying!

Also I have administrator as a user, but with the revised run as admin and authorisation prompts do I really need this user account anymore, as when installing software or modification it still asks for a confirmation of control.

About all we can do is report the bugs, and hopefully Microsoft will get them fixed soon.

Did you mean that your send feedback link does not work?

Hi Shawn, yes, the send feedback link doesn't work. I've tried logging into my admin account, running as admin , taking control etc. nothing.

It appears that Microsoft has removed the C:\Windows\System32\FeedbackTool.dll file in the later RC builds of Windows 7. There will no longer be and feedback now.

Yeah I noticed that, I was going to mention it to you but I forgot, IMO I think they should have just left it there for good.

LOL, yeah it would make it a lot easier for the end user to report any issues.

I do have the file that I could add to the tutorial to make it work again, but I don't see the point in it if Microsoft will stop responding to them though.
