FF or Windows Bug?

Just thought id ask.


Does anyone get a 'glitch' while typing in Firefox, where the mouse cursor, and the type-cursor disappear, at random? I thought it was do to the 'hide cursor when typing' setting in FF, but i have that disabled. also i get this 'exit page' effect while typing with the ^Shift key held. but it's always at random times, and random sites. So idk what would cause it, so I figue it must be a system-side bug. any thoughts?

im using ver. 3.0.10 if it's relevant.
like i said though it's completely random. usually when i have more than one tab open.

is it almost like a slowness issue?
do you lose function in the FF window? (like freezing?)
Firefox 3 has been plagued with that issue. I had to strip off ALL of my add-ons and it STILL happened. 2 work machines and 1 home pc, completely different.

yea, come to think of it. i notice like a split second delay sometimes, maybe it's a memory leak? my only assumption then, would be that when it corrects itself, it causes the tab closing, and possibly the cursor issue as well. hmm...that almost makes me sound smart .

Wireless mouse ? ?
It's kind of difficult to diagnose this without a list of your extensions.
You should upgrade to the latest flavor first and see if it goes away.

pretty basic setup. also, im using the defaut theme, nothing fancy

yeah it will stop, for about 2 weeks. then right back to the freezing.

i've no idea what this could be. i'm so annoyed by it that i switched over to chrome. learning to love it right now. if the plug-ins keep coming ala firefox then it will be even sweeter.

I get those occasionally, but not often enough to annoy me too much. I've only ever really noticed it in the reply boxes here and Vistax64.

It could just be FF and vbulletin powered boards don't always get along.

I just think the render engine gets a little glitchy. I've seen a few odd issues, but nothing that really stays long enough to screenshot
