ffmpeg command to check if all files in folder do have the same codec

HI,

i have a set of files , but want to check if all the files in the folder are having the same and video codec. if it lists the codec, i may be sure of the codec instead of playing each in player to find.
the command I want is to just give the video codec and audio codec of each files. irrespective of the same file being copied like a.mp4,a1.mp4 etc.
if the list could be saved or shown in open notepad.

I skimmed through the FFMPEG documentation and didn't see a command that could do this. There may be one, I don't know. But I do know of a potentially easier way to do this. There are several tools listed here and Mediainfo fits the bill.

I saw a formula in ffprobe for knowing for individual file. But for total files , i do not see any thing.
the formula is

ffprobe -v error -select_streams v:0 -show_entries stream=codec_name \ -of default=noprint_wrappers=1:nokey=1 video.mkv
how can i add a *.mp4 to fit the formula
and add audio codec as well
