Fifa 09?

Hello all. I had the arms-out trouble, latest GeForce drivers sorted that out. My current problem is that the game gradually slows down as I play. Things are fine at kick-off, but after 10 minutes of play time, the machine is grinding really hard and the graphics performance has slowed almost to a halt.

I've been trying to work out what cumulative problem could be causing this sort of error. I know FIFA 09 records the whole game as you play, maybe that's the problem? I'm running in Vista compatibility mode, as administrator. I have a GeForce 8800 Ti, and the latest DirectX. Any thoughts?

Have you checked your temps of the card, it could be over heating. Seems it could be because as you say first ten mins are fine.

just a thought.

Hmmm. A possibility, thanks, I'll have a look, but that sounds unlikely since it never has done in the past - no performance issues at all. And overheating graphics cards, in my experience, lead to glitches and crashes, not slowdown. Also, doesn't explain the hard disk grinding away, which I can't get my head around.

Can you fill out your system specs so I can see what your running it on. Look at the top of this page and click on usercp, you can fill your system details and more out there. That way if you ever have any more problems besides this one people will look at what your running. It could also help me in helping you fix this problem.
