Two questions:
1) After going through the process as documented, when I click on the encrypted file it still open not encrypted. What is the problem?
2) How does one delete the key (in encryption) from thr system?
I have Windows Ultimate 32 bit and professional 64 bit.

Be extremely careful what you delete. If the key is gone you will not be able to access anything on the disc
