So hi!

I am pretty pissed off right now so forgive me if I lack of any formality.

I was using Corel Painter Essentials and meanwhile I had a movie in the background playing (I like drawing while listening to a movie), when my stupid computer shut down on its own. Now I am having it repaired on Monday, but the artwork I made was F******** *********** ***** **** SWEET!!!!!

Before the shut down I didnt save it though, it is partly my fault. But I mean. An unexpected shutdown out of nowhere is just god being immature with me....

Anyway do any of you guys know the best way (if there's one) to recover a file I was working on and didnt save in time? is there like a hidden temporary folder where my artwork was saved somehow, even scraps?

Please help me I will +rep each and everyone of you...And if i cant atleast youll be in my heart forever :(((

You may check for temp files in your Appdata folder. Enter %appdata%\ into the start menu and press enter. See if there is a folder called Corel, or something like that.

You may also look in %temp%.

No guarantees, but those are the 2 places I'd check.
