File remains there for about 1min after deletion

Hi guys,

i have problems with deleting file corret.
I want to install steam. While updating there is an error: "deleted steam.exe but the file is still there". I tried to go to the folder where it is located and delete it on my own. Another error: "Access denied" (Logged on as admin). Tried to take owership but the problem is still there. Next try was to look which process is locking the file. LockHunter says that the system process is locking it and i also cant unlock it. And after bout 1min the file is deleted.
Same problem appears with visual studio 2010. Trying to debugg one app then stop debugging in the middle of the programm, try to recompile file but linker says: "cant open file for writting".

Hope you can help me

PS: also tried to uninstall avira cuz steam.com says some anti virus programm cuz problems but also no help

run ccleaner.

you dont have to uninstall it just for a short time disable the real time protection, and click on the steam install file and right click and hit run as admin.

this should help you get steam installed.

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry forgot to say that i found a post on the forum that says to disable windows defender and so i did but but same behavior .
I also installed spybot s&d, regcleaner and used HijackThis. With s s&d no problems found, regCleaner clean some keys and the log of HT showed nothing unnormal (imho).

sorry but push this thread but dont any of you know a way to fix this problem. Its really annoying that often updates fail because the orgianl file remains there and the updater cant override it .
