In the office I work at, there are about 15 computers in a workgroup. This is a problem I am having with 2 computers specifically. Both computers are Win7 Pro x64.
When I connect to my computer or the other from a different computer via \\computername\users , I can see all the user accounts on the computer and share directly on the desktops, etc.
When I am on my computer and connect to the second computer via \\computername2\users , I only see the public folder.
This is true for both computers 1 & 2:
Home or Work (Current Profile)
Network Discovery - On
File and Printer Sharing - On
Public Folder Sharing - On
Media Streaming - Off
File Sharing Connections - 128-bit encryption (recommended)
Password protected sharing - off
Homegroup connections - Allow Windows to manage connections (recommended)
I would like access to all user accounts and non-public folders, as I have with all other computers. With this one I only have access to public folders, and this is the computer I share most with, so it is a big inconvenience. Is something not configured correctly?
Thanks for any help
