I just installed an ssd to my laptop and used the original hdd as a 2nd drive in the optical slot. I then cloned the OS to my SSD and formatted the original drive to use as storage device. The HDD is showing up in my Alienware folder(Folder with all my libraries). When I try and drop something on the HDD it just appears on the desktop of my SSD which has Windows 7 on it. I cant remove the drive from showing in that Alienware folder and moving anything on the HDD goes straight to my SSD desktop, but when checking properties shows its actually on HDD. Any help with this?

Alienware M14X R1

Also my administrator account (Alienware) does not show up in C:/USERS. C:/USERS only show Default, Contacts, Public, & DEFAUL~1~DEF which none have any of my files. On top of that I disabled UAC to never ask for permissions but all the libraries have a golden lock icon on them although I can still access files in them. Seems like this could be part of the issue. I tried deleting the HDD out of my Alienware folder but it doesnt give the option.

Most tech enthusiasts would never run the factory installed Win7 larded with bloatware and duplicate utilities that interfere with much better versions built into Win7. I would do a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to experience Win7 native performance for the first time on that PC.

If you want to try to sort out the mess then please post back a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image and of the Explorer windows that show the problems you describe.
