Files on a CD ..... !!

Sir,
I have a cd with nursery rhymes for childern between age 1 - 5. And i

play it in dvd drive. But, i like to copy the video to ipad. Here comes the

problem. When i open the cd files, i can't see any video files for me to

convert it to ipad compatible. Please help me how i can convert it to ipad

compatible. I'm attaching a snap of a file in the cd to show how i play it

in dvd drive.

Before you can convert the video/ movie you'll need to save the file to your computer,
Did Autoplay open this item/ dvd in Notepad ?
That would not be a good application to use,
Try to right click the video/ movie file and point at Open With and click on Windows Media Player instead,
You might need to use this,

Thank you for response. When i double click the autoplay, a notepad file opens & thats the screenshot which i attached above. & when i right click the video file, there is no option "open with". The application automatically starts when i double click the movie file.

Notepad is definitely not the default program for dvd/ cd's
Use the prior link I posted to reset the default file type associations,
To be specific this part then read the rest of the tutorial on how to Run it,

Default Windows 7 File Extension Types:

To download all available file extension fixes below in one ZIP folder, click on the Download button below and save the ZIP file to your desktop. Open the ZIP file, and extract (drag and drop) the REG file for the file extension you want to restore to your desktop. Now you could just pick up at step 3 above.

Also you might try to reset Autoplay,
Click the Start button and type in the search box
autoplay
Click on the suggestion at any time it appears,
On the top left make sure the box is checked to use autoplay,
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Reset all defaults and Save on the bottom right,

I would play it and make a screen recording. You will find many free and pay screen recorders on the web. The one I use is WMCapture. It makes good quality recordinge.

There are many programs available both free and paid to convert whatever format to whatever other format and it'll probably be easier to do it that way. Have a look here for free software but like any such software make sure to always choose Customized install in case they have various PUPs, Crapware etc bundled with it. You can also right click the CD and click on open to see what's in there
