HI
I have just installed windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade, I'm having trouble with windows media player, when I try to open it I get a message " the file wmploc,dll has a version number120.0.7600.16385 where 12.0.7600.16415 was expected". can any one help.:eek:

I would try to reboot and see if that fixes it. Also run windows update if it hasn't already been run recently.

If still not fixed, then I would suggest running the system file checker as a first step in trying to fix this. Open an administrative command prompt and type "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes) and wait a few minutes for it to complete.

Hopefully that will fix it, if not, a repair install would probably fix it. A repair install leaves your programs, data and settings intact.
