Filezilla Server Error

Hello Guys! okay recently I was making a FTP server and ran into an Error.

425 Can't open data connection for transfer of "/"

this happens when it goes to the passive mode
I tried everything. I am at the point where i should just give up. help please?

Hello, Sorry for the VERY LATE reply...I've been busy.
Nope didn't work, still got error 425.
Erm, maybe I should just stick with a plain FTP server.

Go to FileZilla Forums - Index page and enter the error in the search engine. I did that, and it turned up many links. I did not look at any of the links, as they are of no interest to me, but may provide assistance to you.
