good choice of CPU. I personally don't think much of MSI products, I know a pro builder who says he has to be forced if a customer wants a MSI board. I had a MSI GPU and had trouble so I went to their support site. They said their user forum had many knowledgeable people to help with issues.

Linnemeyer loves em, the boards that is, personally I think I`m gonna go with the Asus GTX660, for my new card. Right after I rob a bank.

Congrats and I know how it feels for your shipment to come at the end of the day. Happens to me too but that's only UPS. FedEx can come anytime so I had to be here and if they shift over to the USPS then I'll know when to expect it.

I don't see any problem with MSI motherboards and I've read a lot of folks like 'em. I have one that's still working, an AM2 board (K9) with the X2 3800 CPU.

By the way, my sis has my old K8 board, still working.

The GTX 660 should do a good job too.
the board may be just fine uless you need real support. Most board makes aren't to swift in the support department, I've experience with 3 of them.
Get it all together at least as a test to make sure it all works before the return option expires.
