So here after two days of trying to PM this picture to Megahurtz07 is the picture I wanted to post,

Everything is installed but which plug in is used the black or white one?

(I still can't find any of my June posts either. They were there yesterday but gone today.)

I'm guessing you are referring to the white and black sata ports. Since you did not post your motherboard or system model in your specs, we cannot know what these colors mean.

But I can tell you that Dell uses its blue sata port for the primary boot drive. The black and white colors are just for ease of installation of other devices and provide the same function and speed, so take your pick. Presumably, a device connected to the empty white port would boot before a device in the empty black port to its left, so you might as well use the white port.

HOWEVER, if you are right now connecting a new drive that is going to be the primary boot drive, you should use the blue port for it, and move the cable currently in the blue port over to the white port. That way you will not have to mess with bios, and the new drive will become the primary boot drive.
