Solved Find Bar-ctl+F- appears in Browser& Apps with any First keystroke

All of a sudden , I have had this irritating spontaneous opening of the find bar on the bottom of the window, in IE11 , Firefox and , even in Windows Explorer, but the whole window for search comes up , 3 or 4 at a time all blinking on the task bar. I have no idea what is triggering this off. i checked the registry to see what the triggers were and followed a few tips but there was nothing other than x-key or F3 key disable.
I do not use hotkeys as a rule. maybe the ctl x, ctl v at most. i am not a nimble typist beyond the basic keyboard and tend to use right click and extended context menu.
I have to use 'esc' or as soon as i enter the first letter into any type able area- URL, google/multiple search bar any window top search or find bar, and in any type able area in browsers there is an immediate find of the page i am on highlighting every single letter i had entered, if it is a long site or document the thing scrolls and loops. I can stop it with the esc key. but so far, not been able to determine how i got the whole thing started.
I know i was mad at my sticky keys on the keyboard and did some adolescent things to the keys, as if it were a piano playing Beethoven's 5th or some other hard rock chords that must have included multi keys alt, ctl, windows , shift and maybe an Fkey and definitely another 3 letter keys
it must have been in this incident of acting out on the key board that i enabled the instant pop up of the find , it used to appear , as it should, with a ctl+F on the bottom of my browser page to search for a letter, word or whole title. I looked into IE 11 to make certain i had the search options set up properly, I did. I looked into Firefox to make sure i had the proper disabling checked and in Outlook /Hotmail : it was disabled. only thing is , it is not disabled in practice.
If anyone else has encountered this issue, I would appreciate any suggestions at all, actual or theoretical
I am continuing to go through my many , many extensions in Firefox. but this thing is all pervasive. crosses over. while it is only that one , first entry that triggers off the search: after i click on 'esc' it is over. i can then type normally without fear of the 'find' popping up and taking focus. until the next reboot of browser
after years worth of trouble free use, i created this.
I use 'Super-Anti-Spyware' and keep it updated, Malwarebytes also updated, CCleaner as well as tune up utilities in conjunction with my ISP free edition of McAfee suite I get with my bundle level or internet speed level. I first thought this was a mal ware thing but nothing shows up with all those things doing their respective things routinely and nothing else seems to be off. I think i set this off to do exactly what it is doing. only i dont want it. I use no other 'accessibility' features either-all are unchecked where appropriate.

I would try a different keyboard (detaching this one entirely), and/or a clean "diagnostic" boot via Start / Run / "MSCONFIG", to see if the problem is hardware or software. If it's software you can run a process of elimination on Start Ups and non-MS Services (It's best to take note of which are enabled before disabling them).

never thought of this route. It only happens to one time (till i press esc) then is ok again till next window or re start browser and it is predictable in that fashion.

feel silly that i hadnt already tried another keyboard. Even though it is not random and all that.
I did not want to go through all that 'process of elimination" there are just so many things to eliminate. I had been willing to put up with the inconvenience , till now.

will be using another keyboard as soon as i take it away from the other box or out of a closet.

I followed the first bit of advice: to try a different keyboard. I had been using a wireless usb Logitech M705 which had functioned well enough for the 2yrs I've owned it, piano black glossy finish caused the keys to stick from day one brand new. I put in another usb, very old generic driver Kingston usb. I do not have any more of the find bar on keystroke for now. want to share this info I guess the new keyboard change allowed me to rule out software quickly.

will check back soon to mark solved as soon(today-tomorrow) as i put in a newer/better keyboard than this tester and make sure this fix works through a restart or 3.(edit-and make sure it isnt connected to the SetPoint software)

It could be batteries change them and test if still the same keyboard is probably faulty

I am doing that immediately. At least I found that changing to another older and no featured keyboard driver from a different brand did not have any indication of this odd behavior.
am about to swap batteries around
one reason I got the M700 series keyboard/mouse set was because of the incredibly long projected battery life. It is as good as they represented. I had gone almost 3yrs with my first new batteries in the mouse. I forget how long they lasted in the keyboard. but so long i forgot when i put them in. over a year closer to 2yrs but that is an inaccurate guess. I wrote down the day but lost the little logitech booklet that came with it . i had so many logitech set up leaflets from all the keyboards and mice over 5yrs, i mixed them all up and scattered all over the house-not thrown out, just hidden somewhere safe.

On my Logitech M705 keyboard there is the cheap icon screen , impossible to see unless direct bright light is on it. but it has icons which indicate the standard things with the bar icon for battery status. I had just changed batteries a short time ago and the screen icon had at least half the bars lit up. so, i never considered it...Principally because i had just run the thing almost all the way down with batteries that had been in there , functioning properly for well over a year-maybe as long as 2yrs and it went down to the one bar and i let the warning pop up show just to check out that icon bar correlation to actual battery strength or charge. it worked all the way down to that warning pop up without troubles at all.
I had these new batteries in there for a couple of months most and was showing charge. however they were not brand new, had pulled them from a non used mouse and put them on the cheap digital multi meter tester. showed 1.49 v or there about . maybe the 2 batteries werent equal in charge , something
Bottom line: i changed batteries, again, not brand new, but the foible is not happening anymore with that orig keyboard and still not a problem with the Kingston keyboard.
So, by process of elimination and very good suggestions, I think it must have been faulty batteries. round about reasoning but the battery changes made the problem go away, for now at any rate
will reboot a few times and mark solved later on

i have found that simply changing the batteries over in the original keyboard made the issue go away. no idea why this happened. but it did
