finding/creating commandstore entries

Hi guys, being the sucker for punishment that I am, I thought I'd give it one more stab ...

So I'm looking for windows functionality, to be referenced via the navigation pane...

I'd like to have:

1. a show/hide all folder (navcontext) commandStore entry
   
   
2. a layout entry
3. toggle show hidden files

(amongst other things

Is this even possible?!

Willing to learn c/c++/c# and become acquainted with winPS/win32API "stuff", if necessary!

Glanced inside shell32.dll (dll export viewer), nothing "familiar" / addresses "unresolved" (can't correlate with accdefaction calls)

Any ideas?
