Firefox 21 Final WEIRDNESS

Ever since I downloaded the Firefox 21 final version, the jump list (for the Firefox icon pinned to my taskbar) doesn't work. If I remove FF 21 and go back to version 20, the jump list works again, but once I update to 21 (which happens automatically), the jump list goes away again. I kinda like having the ability to right click on the taskbar icon and see my favorite websites all in a list...any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the same problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled FF21 to no avail. No jumplist in taskbar or start menu.

I've never noticed this, nor payed any attention to the jump list. I'm guessing with the upgrade it wipes the cache for it....but just a guess. Anything about this on the FF forum?

I do not allow anything to auto update. I do all manually but of course one has to keep checking for updates. I also use Filehippo update checker.

im seeing the jumplist using ff21,though im using win8 if that makes anydifference

I am using Firefox 22 Beta 1 and the Jump list has worked as it always has. I will boot into a Linux build to check out 21. Well that was kind of a dumb idea as Linux does not have jump lists.

just as an experiment could you unpin firefox from the taskbar and then re-pin it,
im assuming its pinned already

Did that a couple of times, boohbah...and, it looks like this is a registered bug over at Bugzilla.com:https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=870529
