Firefox 3.5.6 available

Firefox 3.5.6 is available. Should be available form checking updates, or from Mozilla sometime later today.
Shows beta page after you install, just disregard, it's the final one that will be made available later today.

Firefox 3.5.6 fixes several issues found in Firefox 3.5.5:

* Fixed several security issues.
* Fixed several stability issues.

Uk versions seem to come out about half a day after the US ones.

I've had all sorts of crazy problems with Firefox, and this is a brand new computer.

As I leave Firefox open on a page, without browsing, the mem usage steadily increases. It will start at 25,000 K, then work it's way up to 50,000, 80,000, etc etc.

Currently, with this page being the only one open and Firefox having been on for 20 minutes now I'm sitting at 212,000 K memory usage. If I don't close Firefox soon and began to surf through other pages it will soar up over a gig of memory, become unresponsive, sluggish, lag while trying to scroll, and it is horrendous while trying to watch youtube.

well firefox is a bit resource hungry, the only way i see the memusage going up is when i have multiple tabs open.

I just tried to install a new theme, and clicked"restart to complete your changes"....but now FF will not restart itself....any ideas why? The only other add-ons I have enabled are Adblock Plus and IE Tab.

The answer was a complete shutdown and reboot, as opposed to simply going into sleep mode and reviving it.
