Mozilla reveals the features it wants to ship in 2010.

An interesting year awaits Mozilla, with the company’s plans for the evolution of its open source browser beginning to take contour. If until recently it appeared that two, maybe three releases of Firefox were planned for 2010, it now seems that Mozilla has bumped this number to three or four, with the addition of Firefox codename Lorentz. This because the company has outlined the features it absolutely wants to ship the coming year.

I really dont know why theyre bothering with 3.7. Any of those features could be added to 4.0.

@Airbot: if you think theyre slow, it took the vlc team 10 years to reach version 1! There is something to be said for commercial software.

lol yea considering Microsoft will deliver windows 8 within two years... and they say its a total rewrite...

2 years = an OS...

Speaking of FF 3.7Pre, or Minefield.. I'm using the 2D GPU enabled version. I just noticed they pulled the gimmick of Combined Reload/Stop Button as default. I hate that. So far the only way I found to get 2 distinct buttons is to right click the toolbar, select Customize, then drag one of them so they are no longer adjacent. Not where I want them to be but at least the stop button is always displayed.

Just thought I'd pass it on.
