Firefox 3.6 Beta Download Now Live

Mozilla Firefox version 3.6 beta RC1 is now available for download from Mozilla's servers.
A couple of features that appear in the 3.6 beta candidate:

• control-tab previews

• taskbar thumbnail previews on Windows 7

One thing it doesn't have is the jumplists. It won't be here until 3.7 unfortunately.

Normally when I beta test a new version of firefox I create a new profile using firefox.exe --profilemanager. But in this version that doesnt seem to work. Have they changed it again?

The new version seemed more stable for me then the current. But it also makes a window on the FF icon for each tab on the start bar. I didn't like that. Maybe thats just because its beta? Dunno.

For anyone just downloading. Install it, then reboot. It should have it install side by side with the available version of FF.
