Firefox 4 b7 performance

Hi people,

I installed Beta 7 since it's released. Currently I have a problem with FF's memory usage. It's up to 450 MB during active sessions - I open up to five tabs.

I'm using Adblock plus, Flashblock, GameFOX and Foxmarks.

Any idea what to do?

Disable GameFox, start Firefox in safe mode from start menu to see if it is still using 450MB

Did what you instructed me to. Then I loaded five tabs (facebook pages) my memory usage is now hovering around 150 MB.

But without adblock/flashblock/foxmarks I'm kinda screwed so any further advice?

Add them back 1 at a time and see how works. You got plenty of RAM so let it use what it needs.

150MB-300MB is the normal usage for FF, so one or more addons are causing this leak
