Suggestion

My suggestion would be:

Copy your Firefox Profiles folder and Profiles.ini file to a folder on your desktop so you've got a backup.

You find them in

%APPDATA%\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\

Download a fresh copy of Firefox and install it over the old one.
